eko welcomes Unilever

eko are pleased to be working with Unilever, but this will be probably the shortest news story we have written as we are unable to tell you what we will be working on due to confidentiality. We can however tell you that Unilever products touch the lives of over 2 billion people every day. Thats a lot of people!

eko create Aviva videos for Virtual 3D world Second life

eko have been working with Californian immersive specialists River Runs Red to produce a new and exciting virtual training world for Aviva UK Life. We were asked to create the videos that will appear on the screens when you visit the training rooms. Ian Chapple, UK Life Director of IT Strategy & Architecture and Toby Redshaw, Aviva Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) will welcome trainees to the new world and explain the benefits. We will add some footage shortly.

Bupa say thank you

Our friends at Bupa asked if we could help them produce a thank you  show reel, to thank all the wonderful care workers for there excellent work during 2008. Eko produced a video using photos that had been taken by various care homes across the north of England and Scotland. We mixed this with animations and sound, and testimonials.Unfortunately, it wouldn’t be appropriate to show this video online, but the feedback we have points to it all being a huge success.

Immigration video for Hull City Council

Hull City Council wanted to explain to the residents of the Humber region the importance of community cohesion. This took shape in the form of a film, which included interviews with various leading members and representatives from the minorities within the region. They explained where they came from, and why there here, and how they feel about living in a diverse community. The film broke stereotypes by including British and American minorities. & 10 years of Equity Release">Norwich Union & 10 years of Equity Release

In November Norwich Union celebrated 10 years of Equity Release. eko were asked to film the anniversary conference in London, where leading figures from the likes of Help the Aged, and other organisations, along with Norwich Union representatives,, gave comment on the past, present and future of Equity release. eko also produced several video podcast for the site during 2008. Malton re-Development documentary

Eko have produced a high profile half hour documentary for Ryedale District Council. The film explaining the proposed redevelopment of Malton, featured veteran Calendar broadcaster Geoff Druett, as well as residents and local business owners. The five day shoot took place during July, and at the end of August the film was shown at a special event held by the council, over a two day period. Although news of the redevelopment plans gained mixed reviews, the film went down very well, have a look at the trailer below.  

eko produce indent for York City Council (Science City York)

Our friends at Science City York, (part of York city council) asked us to come up with a short humorous film, that shows some of the regions talents within the areas of creative arts, technology and bio science areas.
